Isn't It Time To Say Goodbye

ISN’T IT TIME TO SAY GOODBYE

The raindrops aren’t concealing
The teardrops in your eye
Even though you’re hiding
I can still tell when you cry
There isn’t any point in leaving
If you don’t mean goodbye
So why don’t we give it a try
Goodbye

Don’t be filling your head
With what’s promised here today
Tomorrow’s just a stop
On the way to yesterday

Isn’t it time to say goodbye
Before I tell you I love you
Nothing’s going to change
You still possess his name
It isn’t worth the pain I’m going through
I love you

He doesn’t need to know
He never let you down
The plane is taking off
Fifteen minutes from now
If there’s an easy way to do this
I sure as hell don’t know how
But why don’t we give it a try
Goodbye

You’ll never know
How much I’m dying
Just ask me once
And I’ll turn right back

I can feel your arms around me
As I finally let you go
Don’t make this any harder
There’s so much you’ll never know
My love is never-ending
Though we’re ending here today
This time I’m saying goodbye
Goodbye
